Good afternoon beloved. I hope you’ve had a godly week learning to grow in grace, spending time in His Word and choosing to trust God in the valley’s and on the mountain tops of our daily lives.
This is what our text this week in 2 Peter 1:12-21 focuses on: remembering and reminding each other if the assurances we have in our faith, in the gospel, in Jesus, in His Word and in the God of our salvation by His Spirit. It is helpful, necessary and a powerful tool in keeping us faithful to the Lord. This will be an encouraging time in our study together. Please read Psalm 8 to prepare your hearts and minds for worship.
In the matchless glory of the One Triune God! Pastor Steve
Come and enjoy a wonderful weekend of a true heart-wrenching story of two women who risked everything to tell others about Jesus in the Muslim nation of Iran! From their captivity at Evin Prison to their release this will be an awesome time of Gospel-witness and Christ-exalting victory! A night for the entire family. (Free admission)
EPISTLES STUDY – TOMORROW MORNING, JUNE 411 7:00AM AT FLAMINGOS DINNER! We will be starting the book of Galatians, The Magna Carta of Christian Freedom! Looking forward to our fellowship together. Love you brothers! Pastor Steve
TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY November 5th at 7pm! Praise and Prayer Gathering. Prayer, apart from salvation, is our most intimate and highest privilege in the Lord. It is where our will is conformed to God’s will. Where our desires are changed to delight in His desires for us (Psalm 37:4). So whether in the valley or on the mountain top, come join us tonight for a wonderful evening of trusting in Jesus!
We were pleased and honored to have welcomed Dr. Alison Rampersad to The Cross Church and Cross Academy of the Arts to address us on the important subject of the dangers of common core in education and why what we are doing at CAA matters!
