If Christ won it you can never lose it! “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” -Romans 8:35
“the Spirit of God intercedes for us according to the will of God” (Romans 8:27)
I am often asked, “If you believe God works all things according to the counsel of his will (Ephesians 1:11) and that His knowledge of all things past, present, and future is infallible, then what is the point of praying that anything happen?”
Usually this question is asked in relation to human decision: “If God has predestined some to be his sons and chosen them before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4) then what’s the point in praying for anyone’s conversion?”
A shocking title, but a reality in today’s evangelical spiritual climate. Has the church in America adopted beliefs and practices that they think honors The Lord, but when examined by Scripture it can only attract the applause of hell?
Our only rule of faith and practice is God’s Word. Its authority knows no equal. May this article encourage you as to its sufficiency and supremacy. (Psalm 19:7-9)

The importance of reading and studying God’s Word everyday can never be taken lightly. It is the life breath of any true believer in Jesus Christ! The leadership at The Cross are reading through the Bible this year. Join us in today’s reading: Genesis 43, Mark 13, Job 9, Romans 13.
