Adult Sunday School at 9am

Begin the Lord’s Day with two great Adult classes:

1. Women’s Ministries is now studying “Set Apart.” This is a study of The Beatitudes. The focus is in knowing God’s true happiness for your life which doesn’t come from things, relationships or positive circumstances, but flows from the very holiness of God! This is taught by Cynthia Camp.

2. A study of the book “Respectable Sins” by Jerry Bridges. This is a powerful book on what it means to die daily to the sins we tend to tolerate everyday. The focus here is on the faithfulness, holiness and grace of God to His covenant people! This is taught by Elder John Samiotis.

THE CROSS WORSHIP February 3rd at 10am “The Gospel According to Jesus” pt 11 (Daniel 9:24-27)

Daniel 9:27, “The Gospel According to Daniel.” (Pt 10). We have finally arrived at the final verse in Daniel 9! This is THE key verse in the entire chapter. It will stretch us, encourage us, challenge us and comfort us! It focuses on the consummation of Messiah’s coming and the covenant He’s established from times past eternal for our redemption. This will be an exciting time in God’s Word together!

Please read Psalm 113:1-9 to prepare your hearts and minds for worship.

Let’s make much of Jesus on this Lord’s Day beloved! In the hope of the Gospel!

The Reason for Our Redemption (pt 3) “The New Community in Jesus” (Ephesians 2:11-22)

This week Pastor Steve begins Ephesians 2:11-22 on The New Community in Jesus or From Disunity to Community. This message has as a sub-theme overcoming racism. There was no greater racial tension than what the early church experienced between Jew and Gentile. The gospel was powerful in bringing down that dividing wall! May we learn from its truths in our day.
