This Week August 30th “Divorce and Remarriage – A Biblical Explanation” pt 2 (Selected Scriptures)

Marriage is important to God and therefore to us His people. We live in a fallen world and the very fabric of family is constantly under attack. The good news? There is grace for every situation, forgiveness for every sin and restoration for every failing. This is an important issue that Scripture clearly speaks to – so pray, beloved, for the Lord’s leading and wisdom in our service tomorrow.

Please read Psalm 56:1-13, a great psalm of trust in the Lord, to prepare your hearts for worship. To God be the glory through Jesus Christ our Lord! Pastor Steve

Wives and Husbands – The Mystery of Christ and the Church (pt 1) Ephesians 5:22-33

This section of God’s Word lays the foundation on what it means to be filled with the Spirit in three areas of relationships: wives and husbands; parents and children; slaves and masters. Church Restoration – The Grace of Restoring Those Who Fall

Church Restoration – The Grace of Restoring Those Who Fall

Why is Church Restoration an all but forgotten grace in the contemporary church in America? It is a biblical command by Christ Himself (Matthew 18:15-20) and the Apostle Paul (Galatians 6:1-3, Romans 16:17, 1 Cor 5:5, 2 Thess 3:13-15, Titus 3:9-11). I hope this article will ignite your heart to lovingly restore those who are fallen into sin (James 5:20).

Christ Died For God – The Unfathomable Love of the Cross

Christ Died For God. As odd as that may sound to our ears that was/is the glory of the cross. This is what propitiation means: to satisfy God’s holiness and justice AND to quench God’s wrath. Because of this, we as redeemed people have “peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Rom 5:1) Amen?

WHY WE CELEBRATE THE LORD’S SUPPER

Communion is one of two ordinances the Lord has commanded us to obey in proclaiming our love for Him and the gospel taking root in our lives. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Him proclaiming His death until He comes. This worship to our risen Lord!
