Becoming Fit For Glory (by Charles Spurgeon)

Becoming Fit For Glory (by Charles Spurgeon)

“The Lord may not give gold, but He will give grace: He may not give gain, but He will give glory. He will certainly send us trial, but He will give grace in proportion thereto. We may be called to labor and to suffer, but with the call there will come all the grace required.” -Spurgeon

WORSHIP: Faith the Grace-Gift of God

WORSHIP: Faith the Grace-Gift of God

Faith is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9) not a product of mans intuitive feelings or intestinal fortitude. It is only by faith that we may please Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Christ Died For God

Christ Died For God

Christ Died For God. As odd as that may sound to our ears that was/is the glory of the cross! This is what propitiation means: to satisfy God’s holiness and justice AND to quench God’s wrath! Because of this we as redeemed people have “peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Rom 5:1) Amen?
