Can the Roman Catholic semi-Pelagian gospel of faith plus works, grace plus merit, Christ plus the church, the cross plus the treasury of merit, purgatory, works righteousness, etc. actually bring salvation to a sinner? A Pope? John Paul II didn’t trust in Christ alone, but honored Mary as his coredemptrix and comediatrix. In light of his “sainthood commemoration” here’s the shocking truth.

“To suppose that whatever God requireth of us that we have power of ourselves to do, is to make the cross and grace of Jesus Christ of none effect.” -JOHN OWEN

In Matthew 5:13-16 the Lord Jesus gives us very practical and helpful word pictures of what it means to be a faithful witness in and to a lost world!
Our prayer is that this message will daily strengthen your walk in Christ so that you may truly represent Him and His gospel to the community in which He has sovereignly placed you!

Complaining is unbecoming of the true Christian and yet we are proficient at it. The cure is found in these verses. In Christ we are never hopeless or forsaken. Every trial has meaning. Meditate on this cure in order to change both your language and your heart.

Middle of the road is the easy place. It is the place of imagined contentment and prolonged consequence. It is the great-negotiated corridor that seeks to appeal to as many as possible, but seeks to define nothing. It is the great vacancy occupied in the land called “Between”. The gospel of Jesus calls us out of our comfort zone to live counter-cultural for Him!

Pastor Steve concludes part two of this exciting series on Islamic Terrorism and what the Bible has to say about its history. This week the focus is Galatians 4:21-31. Remember beloved… the Muslim is not our enemy, but our mission field.
