What is the fruit that evidences a truly regenerated person in Jesus Christ? The Apostle Paul writes, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Cor 5:17) If we are new creations then there should be a new life lived as well.

The ultimate goal of the church biblically is not chiefly the public good, but the glory of God in the proclamation and advancement of His gospel. God, not the audience, is sovereign. The gospel, however, is a stumbling block, offensive and foolishness for those who are perishing.

This a tribute page for a dear friend within our church, Ms Joyce Beck, who went home to be with the Lord suddenly this past Friday. Please share a word of encouragement in the comment section. We’d love to hear from you.

1 Cor 15:17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. 20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
