Complaining is unbecoming of the true Christian and yet we are proficient at it. The cure is found in these verses. In Christ we are never hopeless or forsaken. Every trial has meaning. Meditate on this cure in order to change both your language and your heart.

“Sacred honor” isn’t a phrase we use much these days, but every American life is touched by the bounty of this, the Founders’ legacy. It means dedicated and devoted to God to uphold moral integrity, strength of character, and ethical principles for the betterment of all. It is freedom, tested by blood, and watered with tears. Especially as Christians, let’s not take our freedom for granted.

Faith is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9) not a product of mans intuitive feelings or intestinal fortitude. It is only by faith that we may please Him (Hebrews 11:6).
