“Why Then The Law?”
(Galatians 3:19-22)

Good afternoon beloved! This week in our study of Galatians we look at the purpose and plan for God’s Law. One person asked me this week: “Why was the Law given if it is inferior to the promise of faith through Jesus Christ?” Great question! I believe the Apostle Paul answers that and several other key questions as well.

Please read Psalm 119:97-104 and Romans 7:7-12 to prepare your hearts and minds for worship.

I’m also so excited that immediately following the service we will have our annual Family Meeting Ministry Update! Looking forward to reporting on all God has done for our church this past year and also to hear your questions and comments as well.

The Lord has been so faithful to us! Much to celebrate and give Him thanks and praise for… amen?

Grace and peace to you,
Pastor Steve

Today we wrapped up our month of learning John 14:6, “Jesus told him, “‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’”

This week we learned about staying on the straight and narrow road in our journey through life by obeying God and trusting His word. We learned that we can easily get off of His path if our hearts, minds, ears, and eyes don’t remain fixed on Jesus and His Holy Word. Watch out for danger signs!

This has been an exciting month of learning about the goodness, love, and faithfulness of Christ, and the way to live with Jesus in heaven forever.

Looking forward to March and beginning to learn about Jesus being the Vine, and we His branches.

Please bring any friends to join us on our journey!

Wives and Husbands – The Mystery of Christ and the Church (pt 1) Ephesians 5:22-33

This section of God’s Word lays the foundation on what it means to be filled with the Spirit in three areas of relationships: wives and husbands; parents and children; slaves and masters. In part one, Pastor Steve begins to look at the roles of wives and husbands and how they reflect the Lord as a gift of grace to us in reversing the curse of the Fall.

Is Salvation a Matter of Your Free Will… or God’s?

Is Salvation a Matter of Your Free Will… or God’s?

The issue of the gospel is not how do we get sinful people to a holy God; but how does a holy God come to sinful people without violating His holiness and justice? The answer is cross (Heb 2:17). But in evangelism is God a frustrated suitor nervously waiting for sinful man to choose Him? Does man have a free will to choose God; or does God alone have a free will to choose man? (Romans 9:10-24)

Pastor Steve unfolds one of the most profound passages of God’s Word on our great salvation. “The Riches of Our Redemption” (Ephesians 1:3-14). May your hearts be encouraged in worship of God who has redeemed us eternally through Jesus Christ our Lord.
