The God of Endurance and Encouragement, Rom 15:1-7

The God of Endurance and Encouragement, Rom 15:1-7

February 16th, 2014. As a preemptive to a Revelation 16 and the final fury of God’s wrath upon those who reject Christ and serve the Beast, pastor Steve looks at Romans 15:1-7 on “The God of Endurance and Encouragement.” This is a special message on what makes the church Christ’s grace-filled community on earth.

‪ MANY CHURCHES ARE NOT HAVING SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE TOMORROW HAVING SUCCUMB TO TH IRRATIONAL FEAR & PANIC PROMOTED BY TH MAIN STREAM MEDIA! ‬

‪But we are! Our normal Sunday Worship 10am, Adult Sunday School 9am, Children’s Church 10am & Discovery 6pm! Come join us!

Please send to friends in the area or put on social media too! This can be a tremendous blessing of encouragement during this time of uncertainty and a witness so others know there’s at least one church in our area not caving in to the spin, fear and panic of the moment! Amen?

Tomorrow I’ll be preaching on Romans 8:28-39 on “God’s Eternal Security Amid Our Temporary Crisis.”

Looking forward to making much of Jesus with you!

Pastor Steve

PS: We have hand soap and hand disinfectant in each bathroom and at each of our entrances. Plus… plenty of toilet paper and hand towels too!

Being A a Fruitful Branch
“Yes. I am the vine; you are the branches. Apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

This week we continue learning how Jesus is the vine that gives life to us, His branches, as we faithfully abide in Him. Without Him we are helpless and can do nothing. We abide in Him by obeying His word, living our lives every day for Him, and trusting Him to lead us on His straight path as we journey through our lives.

Looking forward to spending time in His holy word with your children this Sunday.

Sola Scriptura… A Weapon of Mass Instruction

Sola Scriptura… A Weapon of Mass Instruction

Our only rule of faith and practice is God’s Word. Its authority knows no equal. May this article encourage you as to its sufficiency and supremacy. (Psalm 19:7-9)

For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe” 1 Thess. 2:13

The most effective weapon we possess as Christians for the work of the ministry is not pragmatic methodology, our TV shows, book clubs, music concerts, radio programs, our celebrities, famous pastors, or even our social alliances with other cultural moral entities–as effective as some of those things may be. The most effective weapon that any church or Christian possesses is the Word of God and the life lived in obedience to its claims.
