November 10th, 2013. Pastor Steve continues the study of the book of Revelation this week with a slight detour to 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 on the theme The Man of Lawlessness. Does the dragon, the beast of the sea and the beast of the land have something in common with the antichrist figure that Paul mentions in these verses?
October 13, 2013 This week Pastor Steve continues to unfold the description of “the beast of the sea” from Rev 13:1-10. As you will discover, this is not about an individual from a poorly imagined Christianized syfy novel emerging from Dante’s inferno. These are hostile gov’ts, world leaders, nonChristian persecutors, seducers, and religionists.
September 15, 2013. Pastor Steve explores a new section of the Apocalypse, Revelation 12:1-6. This revisits for us birth, ascension, and coronation (and therefore crucixion and resurrection) of the child – The Lord Jesus Christ!
August 11th, 2013. Pastor Steve begins our study of Revelation chapter 11 – one of the most difficult passages in this epistle to understand and therefore teach. This is the final section of an interlude before the opening of the seventh seal.
How many times have we heard people say, “sound doctrine divides… why be so dogmatic about Christianity’s essentials?” Contrary to that notion, it is unsound doctrine that divides.
