Pastor Steve unfolds for us Phil 4:10-13 on the theme, “The Secret of Divine Contentment.” “Christian contentment is that sweet, inward, quiet, gracious frame of spirit, which freely submits to and delights in God’s wise and fatherly disposal in every condition.” ―

“For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

Being A a Fruitful Branch
“Yes. I am the vine; you are the branches. Apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
This week we continue learning how Jesus is the vine that gives life to us, His branches, as we faithfully abide in Him. Without Him we are helpless and can do nothing. We abide in Him by obeying His word, living our lives every day for Him, and trusting Him to lead us on His straight path as we journey through our lives.
Looking forward to spending time in His holy word with your children this Sunday.

This is a powerfulsection of the overall theme of the worthy walk – Walk As Children of Light (Ephesian 5:7-14). This is where the rubber meets the road in our daily living as Christians in a pagan society. May it encourage you to live faithfully and holy for the Lord Jesus Christ!
